Australian National Supply Chain Competition, ‘The Fresh Connection’, run by APICS, has gone to Thailand with approximately 50 Thai supply chain professionals participating in the ‘ultimate supply chain experience’ online competition on 19-20 April.

Thai supply chain professionals were from companies including 7-Eleven, Diageo Moet Hennessy, and Tipco (Thailand’s largest juice company).

More than 170 supply chain professionals from around Australia are competing in the inaugural competition, which is supported by MHD magazine and TandL News.

In three separate sessions over the two days, The Fresh Connection made it into the Thai government offices of the Department of Primary Industry and Mining as well as the Federation of Thai Industries, and during each of these the feedback from all involved was unanimously positive.

Following similar successful sessions in Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand, the growth of The Fresh Connection in Australasia and South East Asia is impressive.

Participating companies in Australia include Dell, Nestle, Coca Cola Amatil, Schweppes, Shell, and Caltex just to name a few.

Australian competition partners are GRA, TandL News, MHD Supply Chain Solutions magazine, Signet, Involvation, and Focus Press.
