Australian Freight Industry Awards announced

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) hosted the 22nd Annual Australian Freight Industry Awards in Melbourne on Saturday, 3rd September with over 1000 guests in attendance.

The Awards are designed to reward excellence and to raise the standards and public perception of the Australian freight and logistics industry.

The 2011 Australian Freight Industry Award winners are:

1. Australian Best Practice Safety Award: VicRoads
2. Australian Freight Innovation/Technology Award: Noske Logistics
3. Australian Freight Industry Promotion & Careers Award: McColl’s Transport
4. Australian Freight and Logistics Award: Victoria University Institute of Supply Chain & Logistics
5. Australian Freight and Logistics Personality of the Year Max Luff, Chairman, Border Express.
