As the conduit between senior leaders in the T&L industry and governments, the ALC is active in ensuring the views of the T&L industry are heard from the entire supply chain and its multimodal perspective. Without active and ongoing contributions from across the whole of the supply chain the ALC would not be able to fulfil this vital role.
In 2009, the ALC announced and executed a significant re-positioning to focus on advocacy, regulation and infrastructure, aimed at improving the efficiency of Australia’s T&L freight industry. The 2010 Forum will focus on ALC’s key strategic policy priorities, including the national transport reform agenda, Infrastructure Australia issues, and the 2010/11 ALC work program.
The Annual Forum will take place on 2-3 March 2010.
