Auckland event rates 5.1 out of 6

Last week’s CIPS event, Keeping up to date – procurement law and centralization, held in Auckland was an overwhelming success.

 
More than 55 attendees converged on Kensington Swan on Thursday 29 April to hear Tyrone Cooley and Chris Parke of Kensington Swan, discuss trends, recent changes in law and their legal ramifications on procurement.  

Tyrone Cooley Senior Associate, focused on recent case laws that impacted the tender/contract process, while Chris Parke Partner, used the Auckland Super City as an example to discuss centralizing procurement.

Chris Morgan, Chair of the CIPS Auckland Committee was in attendance and noted, “it was great to see such a wide cross section of the procurement community in Auckland getting expert opinion on key issues for the profession”.

 According to feedback forms completed by attendees at the completion of the event, the presentations had “excellent content”, were “clearly presented” and the event provided a “great networking opportunity”. Overall event satisfaction was rated at 5.1 out of 6.
