Australian industry in Global Defence Supply Chain.

Greg Combet, the Minister for Defence Material and Science, has congratulated the Raytheon Industry Development Unit (IDU) on its achievements as a signatory to an Australian Global Supply Chain Deed with the Defence Material Organisation (DMO). The Raytheon IDU is a DMO funded initiative to secure access for Australian industry in global defence supply chains. Since its inception in July 2009, the Raytheon IDU has ensured 12 contracts for Australian companies with Raytheon’s US based businesses worth over $50 million. “This achievement means that Australian companies are now well integrated into Raytheon's global supply chain,” said Mr Combet.
