Canberra given new laws to restrict supply

Australia is said to be considering joining a US-led coalition to impose additional sanctions on Iran, amid evidence that Iran is working on nuclear weapons.

"To accompany this new measure, we will launch a worldwide diplomatic campaign to encourage other countries to shift any purchases of Iranian petrochemical products to other suppliers," US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said.
