Cargo theft number one concern for supply chain companies: survey

Cargo theft is the number one concern for businesses involved in the supply chain, according to a new survey by global logistics security specialist, Freightwatch.

The survey revealed that nearly 75 per cent of respondents believed the impact of cargo crime on the supply chain was major or moderate issue.

Other threats such as terrorism appear to be fading as concerns, mentioned by just 11 per cent of supply chain professionals.
