Recognition of this programme will further enable CIPSA’s procurement professionalisation agenda, whilst increasing CIPS student membership numbers and enrolments in the CIPS qualifications providing a feeder into the CIPS qualifications framework. Upon completion of the assessment components of the HPV Procurement Professional Program PLUS: i) CIPS Level 4 Managing Purchasing and Supply Relationships Candidates will be eligible for: The HPV’s Procurement Professional Program certification
This joint arrangement is an excellent pathway to further engage the health procurement community with the vision to educate, upskill and develop their talents. CIPS Australasia is committed to professional development and will continue to support initiatives which offer valuable progression on the pathway to professionalism. This is the second accreditation of its kind, combining AQF units of competency with units from the CIPS Qualification framework to award the CIPS Foundation Diploma – a globally recognised procurement qualification. The first was the Victorian Local Government Procurement Professional Programme which was launched in June 2009, also managed by Contracting and Tendering Services. Health Purchasing Victoria (HPV) is an Australian public authority established in 2001 by an amendment to the Victorian Health Services Act 1988, and has a responsibility to facilitate reform of the procurement system for Victorian hospitals and health services.
