CIPS Australia and New Zealand 2010 Conference Programme

The CIPSA Conference schedule for 2010 is set to be bigger, better and even more relevant to the needs of the many practitioners who now attend the most effective procurement events in the region.

03/02/2010 The Hon Lindsay Tanner confirmed to open The 5th CIPSA Public Sector Procurement Forum
CIPSA Conferences are delighted to confirm that Minister for Finance and Deregulation, The Hon Lindsay Tanner, will provide the opening keynote address at the 5th CIPSA Public Sector Procurement Forum on 27th May in Canberra.

In a late change top the programme, CIPSA Conferences are delighted to announce that visiting UK Professor Dr Martin Christopher will now present a keynote session at the CIPSA Strategic Procurement Forum Adelaide on 18th February.

In light of the recent defeat of the Governments proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme (or great big new tax – depending on your political view) and a great deal of uncertainty as to the future of the bill, the “What the CPRS means for Procurement” Conference scheduled for March has been postponed until later in the year.

The 5th CIPSA Annual Conference at Crown Palladium in Melbourne last week has been rated a resounding success by delegates, receiving at satisfaction rating of 97%.  The second-highest ever proportion of survey respondents rated the event as ‘excellent’.
