CIPSA Accreditation: WA Dept of Finance Procurement Vocational Programme

CIPS Australia has accredited the Western Australian Government’s Department of Finance Procurement Vocational Programme (PVP).

Contracting and Tendering Services Pty Ltd (CTS), one of CIPSA’s approved study centres, has been nominated as the provider of this programme on behalf of the WA Government.

The joint arrangement will further engage the public sector finance and procurement community with the vision to educate and develop their talents.

This is the third accreditation of its kind, combining AQF units of competency with units from the CIPS Qualification framework to award the CIPS Foundation Diploma – a globally recognised procurement qualification.

Upon completion of the assessment components of the Procurement Vocational Programme PLUS:
i) CIPS Level 4 Managing Purchasing and Supply Relationships
ii) CIPS Level 4 Purchasing Contexts

Candidates will be eligible for:
•     The  WA Department of Finance’s Procurement Vocational Programme certification
•     Exemptions from:
           o CIPS Level 4 Effective Negotiation in Purchasing and Supply
           o CIPS Level 4 Developing Contracts in Purchasing and Supply 
           o CIPS Level 4 Measuring Purchasing Performance
• CIPS Foundation Diploma in Purchasing and Supply qualification
• CIPSA Diploma membership status
• Progression into CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
