CIPS WA members learn tools for detecting cartel behaviour
04 Aug 2009
A successful CIPS Western Australia breakfast meeting at Novotel Perth Langley on 16 June featured keynote speaker Michael Schaper, ACCC Deputy Chairman.
Michael’s presentation addressed how to detect cartel behaviour and the steps to protect your organisation from being targeted. He outlined tools that procurement professionals can employ to deter such activity and mitigate risk during tender or contract negotiations.
The quality of the content and delivery of the subject resulted in an engaging question time at the end of the presentation. Michael then made himself available at the conclusion of the breakfast to personally answer any further questions, comments or concerns from the attendees.
Michael Schaper’s presentation slides are now available on the CIPSA website. Click here to download them.
