New CIPS Australasia 'CPO AGENDA 100' event

The CIPS inaugural ‘CPO AGENDA 100’ event that was originally scheduled for early December 2011 – has had a date change, and been brought forward!

The new, final, dates for this invitation-only CPO event are Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st August 2011. There will be an informal welcome dinner on the Monday evening beforehand 29th August for invited delegates.

The venue is the newly refurbished RACV Royal Pines facility on the Gold Coast – equidistant from both Brisbane [BNE] and Coolangatta [OOL] airports. Day two will end around 3.30pm. The full programme was revealed only this week with speakers already invited but mostly still to be formally approved and confirmed.

The top 100 CPOs in the region are being personally invited to participate in this new event which will examine the leadership challenges facing CPOs in the coming decade.

The event will include two plenary sessions, two leadership seminars run by Right Management on behalf of CIPS, and nine workshop breakout sessions to be facilitated by top procurement consulting firms. The Tuesday evening 30th August will feature a formal dinner for CPOs with a high-profile guest speaker.
