CIPSA Accreditation: RMIT University's Master of Strategic Procurement27 Jul 2011CIPS Australia has accredited its 22nd university programme to full membership status, MCIPS. RMIT University’s Master of Strategic Procurement makes it the university’s third CIPSA accredited Masters programme. The accreditation certificate was presented to RMIT recently at the NPPF Victorian Local Advisory Group forum attended by the APCC and the Victorian industry group. All graduates of the programme need to comply with the conditions specified in the agreement plus evidence relevant work experience in order to be conferred with MCIPS status. RMIT University is a member of the Australian Technology Network (ATN) Universities (http://www.atn.edu.au) and a participant in the National Procurement Professionalisation Forum (NPPF) initiative to professionalise procurement and supply chain management across Australia. This is yet another key accreditation as it marks the third strategic procurement programme to be developed under the NPPF efforts, a collaboration with industry partners and CIPSA, following the successful accreditation of the University of Canberra’s in January this year and Queensland University of Technology’s in March. |
