Curtin University takes top honours

18 May 2012

Student Challenge Champions

Curtin University has been named the Student Challenge Champions for 2012, beating students from five other Australian universities in the 2nd Annual National Student Challenge.

The challenge saw over 100 students from six universities participating in a revolutionary new learning experience that allowed them to participate against each other trying to achieve the highest Return on Investment (ROI) possible for a fictional juice company known as The Fresh Connection.

For eight weeks, students were immersed in the virtual world of The Fresh Connection as they made strategic and tactical decisions for the value chain aimed at obtaining the highest ROI possible.

Curtin University took the top honours from runners-up RMIT and Queensland University of Technology and were given the unofficial title of Australia’s Leading Supply Chain Management University in 2012.
