Demand surge could catch out supply chains

Most global companies are optimistic about economic recovery but have supply chain weaknesses that leave them ill prepared to meet an upturn in demand according to a recently released study. Many companies interviewed admitted they lacked the flexibility and processes needed to cope with volatility in the supply chain.
