The Impact of Rugby World Cup on Procurement, Eden Park event, 25th May

13 May 2011

The CIPS Auckland branch is hosting an event at Eden Park, New Zealand’s biggest sporting stadium on the 25th May which will focus on the impacts of the Rugby World Cup on procurement operations.

The event will offer a fascinating insight into how organisations cope with demands which are ‘out of the ordinary’ and how they work with their supply chain to strike a balance between leveraging the opportunity presented and at the same time carefully managing risks and the increased exposure.

Pernod Ricard will be on hand to explain just some of these procurement and supply chain challenges.

The event will include an hour tour of the stadium which will also give attendees the opportunity to see firsthand the preparations for the World Cup.

Custom Fleet who is sponsoring the event will also make a short presentation.
