Emirates opens up first freight service to Australia

Emirates Airline's freight division, SkyCargo, will operate its first dedicated freighter service to Australia this week.
 
Emirates’ Australian Cargo Manager Greg Johnson said 2011 is proving to be a year of growth for Emirates SkyCargo.
“With the introduction of a dedicated weekly freighter service in New South Wales and the re-commencement of the airline’s third-daily Sydney flight in October customers will have more choice than ever before,” Johnson said.
 
“The new services will allow the opportunity to expand into more areas of air cargo transport,” he said.
