Ernst & Young to outsource as part of shared services procurement strategy

Accounting firm Ernst & Young have announced job cuts in a major outsourcing decision.
“We are transferring Australian transaction processing activities to our global shared service centres as part of the firm's strategy to leverage our global scale,” Ernst & Young said in a statement.
“As a result, a number of finance roles will move to our Dalian office in China.”
The company did not disclose how many jobs will be lost as part of the outsourcing.
