Win $2500 and conference trip with CIPSA essay competition

28 Jul 2009

A penny for your thoughts?

How about $2,500 and an all-expenses paid trip to the 5th Annual CIPS Australasia Procurement Conference in Melbourne this October?

That’s what you could win for your thoughts, experiences or research on anything directly related to an aspect of the CIPS Professional Agenda 2009 in the CIPS Australasia essay competition.

If you’re working or studying in the field of procurement, there’s no doubt you will have insight to share that’s related to the CIPS Professional Agenda 2009.

The Agenda outlines current issues facing procurement managers and includes things like avoiding ‘greenwash’, measuring procurement’s performance and contribution, responding to corporate or policy changes, and developing soft skills and influencing abilities.

Chances are there’s something you could write up that your own organisation will benefit from, so why not share that with the wider Australasian profession and be in to win at the same time?

You can see the whole Agenda here.

You don’t need to be a CIPS member to enter, but you do need to be working or studying in procurement.

Essays should be 1500 to 3000 words.  The competition closes at 5.00pm AEST on Friday 21 August 2009.  Entries must be submitted electronically as a MS Word document to marketing@cipsa.com.au with Essay Competition Entry in the subject field.
