CIPS launches new code of professional ethics
14 Apr 2009
CIPS has reviewed its code of professional ethics and in addition to providing an update, the new version has simplified the language used and considers the wider aspects of ethical procurement practices.
In the current economic climate this review is particularly important and is the result of several months of work from across the profession. CIPS Council kicked things off and their comments formed part of a consultation by the Policy Advisory Network. This has been approved by CIPS Key Practice Statement Group and was presented to Council two weeks ago and approved.
