Described as the “Jewel in the Crown” of CIPSA’s actvities during the first three years, the CIPSA Conference programme goes from strength. Providing unparalleled educational and networking opportunities, CIPSA Conferences in 2009 will be held in Sydney, Perth, Auckland and Melbourne. Shorter in length that CIPSA Conferences, the Regional Events are organised by the local regional committees and provide outstanding networking opportunities. These events provide a great opportunity to meet your peers and exchange ideas in an informal environment. The CIPSA Regions are ACT, NSW, VIC & Tas, QLD, SA & NT, WA, New Zealand, and South Pacific.

With 14 different courses scheduled for 2009, CIPSA Public Training provides procurement professionals with the opportunity to develop and refine specific skills in a small group workshop. Usually facilitated by one trainer, these courses will be held in a number of locations in 2009.

During the course of the year there are a few conferences which CIPSA either endorses, is a partner on, or contributes to the development of the programme, without being directly involved in the promotion and management of the event. The bi-annual SMART Conference in Sydney and the Queensland Supply Chain Conference being examples.
