Excellence in travel category management to be recognised16 Mar 2011How does your travel management programme measure up? The BTTB Travel Management Awards are open for entries, honouring excellence on both sides of the supply chain. The Travel Programme of the Year award will be presented to a buyer organisation that displays innovation and professionalism. Past winners include Pacific Brands which not only reduced costs and improved travel processes, but also raised the profile of travel management within the organisation. Buyers may also nominate their suppliers for efforts “above and beyond” normal service. Buyers are urged to consider whether the supplier provides relevant services, reasonable pricing, relevant systems and sound account management. Closing Date for Entries - 8th April The BTTB Travel Management Awards Dinner will be held on May 4th at the Dockside Rooms, Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour, Sydney. The Dinner is held at the conclusion of Day One of BTTB Australia 2011, the regions leading conference for procurement managers faced with the difficult task of managing their organisations travel category.
