CIPS formally accredits Executive Master of Business at QUT07 Mar 2011CIPS has formally accredited the Executive Master of Business (Strategic Procurement) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to full membership of the Institute, MCIPS. As background, QUT is a member of the Australian Technology Network (ATN) Universities (http://www.atn.edu.au) and a participant in the National Procurement Professionalisation Forum (NPPF) initiative to professionalise procurement and supply chain management across Australia. This is yet a key accreditation as it marks another postgraduate strategic procurement programme to be developed under the NPPF efforts which is a collaboration with industry partners, the Australasian Procurement and Construction Council (APCC) and CIPSA. All graduates of this programme will need to comply with the conditions specified in the agreement plus evidence relevant work experience in order to be conferred with MCIPS status. Candidates who successfully complete the above programme and meet the conditions specified may apply for full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply. Acceptance will be subject to the submission of a formal application form and evidence of three years experience in purchasing and supply management in a position of responsibility. |
