Australian freight company expands procurement activities into Africa

Australian freight forwarding company, One Global Logistics, has expanded its operations into Sub Saharan Africa which will enable the company to streamline procurement activities ranging from import to transport services. 

In a joint venture with independent South African-owned freight and logistics group Megafreight Services, One Global Logistics will now have reach to the 54 countries in Africa, and comes after 6 months of talk with shipping lines, airlines, the Queensland Government and Austrade.

“Our joint venture with Megafreight will allow companies, especially those located on the Eastern Seaboard, to cost-effectively access emerging African markets,” One Global Logistics Chief Executive Officer James Sparke said.
