Full Freight Week 2009 Program Now Available

Freight Week is a biannual event run in conjunction with The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce and the Victorian Transport Association.

Conducted at the Melbourne Park Function Centre from 7th – 11th September 2009, Freight Week 2009 aims to increase awareness and involvement in freight issues around Australia.

The VTA has identified one key topic to be discussed each day throughout Freight Week which is pertinent to the future of freight in Australia.

These are as follows:
• People - Monday 7th September
• Technology - Tuesday 8th September
• Port of Melbourne - Tuesday 8th September
• Environment - Wednesday 9th September
• Safety - Thursday 10th September
• Freight Agenda - Friday 11th September

Each day is stand alone, built to satisfy diverse interests within industry and governments. The program is designed by industry, for industry.
