Full steam ahead for 5th CIPSA Annual Conference

With just three weeks to go, organisation for the 5th CIPSA Annual Conference is in full swing. At this stage delegate numbers look like exceeding last year's record numbers.

Combined with what will also be a record turn-out of sponsors and exhibitors in the Purchasing Exchange, many of whom are first time participants, and the conference promises to be even bigger and better than last year's event.

While "The Perfect Storm", that is the theme of this year's conference, is undoubtedly showing signs of abating, many commentators believe that we are not yet out of the woods and that the global economy will experience significantly increased volatility compared with the last 10-15 years. With the seminar streams focussing on "Opportunities and Threats" for procurement arising from the recent economic turmoil, the conference content will equip procurement professionals with the capabilities they need to address this voltility.
