CIPSA Queensland breakfast focuses on local opportunities

25 Aug 2009

The Queensland Regional Committee of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Australia (CIPSA) breakfast seminar gave attendees an overview of how local businesses can access existing and forthcoming project tenders, and vice-versa.

Held in conjunction with ICN (Industry Capability Network, a division of QMI Solutions) at the CQ University Gladstone campus on Tuesday 18 August, the seminar was well received by suppliers, procurement managers and business people.

Eddo Roggaveen, Manager Industrial Projects at ICN, gave an informative overview of how to make the most of business opportunities in the region.  An industry assistance body that seeks to maximize the Australian content of major projects, ICN works with project and procurement managers to help them identify suitably capable Australian companies.

Eddo’s presentation slides are available to download from this page on the CIPSA website.
