Global procurement survey

24 Jan 2011

Source: CPO Agenda

CPO Agenda, in association with KPMG, is launching a global benchmarking process to assess procurement excellence.

The process will be a comprehensive survey of CPOs and procurement directors across thousands of the most high-profile public and private sector organisations.

The results are set to provide great insight for CPOs and procurement directors; data that will be made available for free to those who take part in the survey.

The survey will assess all dimensions of functional procurement excellence including value and performance, strategy and business planning, operational excellence and operating model effectiveness.

Participants will receive an organisation-specific summary of the findings when the final report is published in the spring of 2011. This will provide comparative data on functional procurement excellence measures. The data will help assess (confidentially) personal performance against peers, and provide a baseline for existing and future transformation projects.
