Goodman Fielder to overhaul supply chain to cut costs

One of Australia’s largest food manufacturing companies, Goodman Fielder, is planning to cut $60 million in costs across its entire supply chain.

The company confirmed this week that it aimed to save $25 million from its first cost-cutting project, a redesign of the baking supply chain.

Spokesman Ian Greenshields said the company was aiming for savings across the entire supply chain, not just distribution, and was considering a range of options.
