Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) system significantly enhances procurement efficiency and reduces costs. GSB , a leader in smart procurement and purchasing solutions, recently introduced 'BravoSolution' to the New Zealand market and has been pleased with its success thus far in delivering clients with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for e-Procurement.
The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) recently selected GSB from a number of leading e-procurement providers following a competitive selection process and concluded that the solution met its key procurement objectives,
including:
. Ensuring greater efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing practices
. Delivering strategic sourcing capabilities across the organisation
. Implementing process improvements and technology that ensure value for money outcomes
. Standardising market engagement and decision making processes within procurement
. Improving the visibility and management of all contracts across the organisation
. Overall ability to provide better use of taxpayer dollars through procurement process excellence.
"There is no doubt that this GSB product accelerates our procurement processes, making them more streamlined and efficient. They are also more transparent and easily audited, and ensure that consistent, best practice procurement is applied. This is the intended direction for all-of-government procurement, and we're happy to be on the forefront of this trend," says Stewart Baillie, the Defence Force's Director of Shared Services.
The solution from GSB was implemented at NZDF in just six weeks, including training around 20 users.
GSB's e-tendering solution offers its clients:
. Accelerated procurement processes speeding up purchasing cycles
. Enhanced supplier management
. A customisable portal
. Easy implementation and training
. A procurement knowledge library that is easily accessible and reusable online
"We're pleased to be working with NZDF to implement a procurement solution that will save time, costs and resources and drive better procurement practice across the organisation," says Peter Royle, GSB CEO.
