CIPSA awards Highly Commended status to approved study centre

Supply Chain Management Education Australia (SCMEA) has become the first CIPSA approved study centre across Australasia to be awarded Highly Commended status (2010).

This recognition acknowledges that SCMEA’s teaching provision clearly exceeds the minimum standards and course staff have exhibited dedication and commitment to excellence.  SCMEA is a division of RMK Business Consulting and was formed in 2006 in response to increased requests for training within the purchasing and supply chain management fields.

SCMEA was the first CIPS approved study centre in Australasia – in 2007-  and provides training to individuals requiring professional development, as well as organisational clients. Their offering includes distance education and delivery of the CIPS qualifications in Queensland. The organisation considers the Highly Commended status award to be another step towards becoming a CIPS Centre of Excellence.  To achieve this will require all aspects of SCMEA’s provision to excel CIPS required standard, and for their examination and assessment results to equal or exceed the national average.
