IFPSM ezine April edition

The International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM) has released its April ezine edition.

This month’s edition features articles that take their cue from global events.

There are tips for those buyers charged with leading transformation projects in the government sector. And there is advice on how to counter rising energy costs, with increases expected given turmoil in North Africa and Japan.

In the news also are the demands on buyers to take action against counterfeit parts in the aerospace supply chain, scams detected by the Asian Development Bank and how the Pan American Games is trying to boost supplier diversity.

Other discussions are that the US Transportation Security Administration should work more closely with its suppliers and the US government is paid too much for fuel and military operation.
