Greater procurement freedom for 'directors' of Indigenous schools

Procurement changes are set to be introduced to remote indigenous schools in NSW, with these schools to be integrated with health and community services and run by directors who will be given spending autonomy.

The procurement freedom given to principals – called directors under the plan – are part of drastic changes intended to boost student standards and transform troubled communities.
