Keith Jubah, head of the Public Procurement and Concessions Commission, which helps fight corruption by scrutinising government spending, was killed on Sunday evening by a gang of men outside Liberia's capital Monrovia. President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf said in a statement she was "deeply shocked and distressed" over the crime, thought to have been carried out by "disgruntled" former employees. |
