Logistics seminars to educate WA small businesses in procurement and SCM

Logistics seminars held in Western Australia recently have aimed to increase productivity and competitiveness of small business by addressing supply chain and procurement issues.

“Understanding how business fits within a supply chain, and knowing how to maximise productivity with best practice planning, distribution and inventory management can give small business owners a competitive edge when pitching for a greater share of the State’s economic growth,” Western Australia Small Business Minister Simon O’Brien said.

Held by the Small Business Development Corporation, the Supply Chain Know How seminars will offer practical suggestions about developing an understanding of critical business processes from the start of the supply chain to the end consumer.
