Major findings from Third-Party Logistics Study released

The major findings from the 16th Annual Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Study, examining the global market for outsourced logistics, have been released.

The study found 42 per cent of total logistics expenditures are being spent on outsourcing while the majority of shippers worldwide are increasing their use of 3PL services.

The findings were announced by Capgemini Consulting in cooperation with Penn State University, Heidrick & Struggles and Panalpina.
