Manufacturers and transport companies contribute to increased insolvencies

Australian manufacturers and transport companies are among the industries feeling the squeeze as recent figures point to a big increase in corporate insolvencies.

The pace of corporate insolvencies has reached its highest since the global financial crisis, with the latest figures showing corporate collapses running 4.4 per cent  above levels for the same time last year.
