Dr Martin Christopher is the guest speaker at a CIPSA breakfast in Melbourne on Friday 5th March at Crown Entertainment Complex during his three weeks in Australia.

 

Dr Christopher is Emeritus Professor of Marketing and Logistics at Cranfield School of Management (UK), and directs the Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the largest activity of its type in Europe. His work in the field of logistics and supply chain management has gained international recognition. He is widely published and his recent books include Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Marketing Logistics.

His presentation will address:

• The new rules of competition
• Are current supply chains fit for purpose?
• Coping with volatility and complexity
• Creating a responsive and resilient supply chain
• Implications for supply management
