Masters of Bus. in Operations and SCM, UTS, formally accredited MCIPS

16 Sep 2011

The Master of Business in Operations and Supply Chain Management programme offered by the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) has been formally accredited to full membership status (MCIPS) by CIPSA.

This accreditation takes the number of CIPSA accredited university programme’s to 24.

All graduates of this programme will need to comply with the conditions specified in the agreement plus evidence relevant work experience in order to be conferred with MCIPS status.

This is yet another key accreditation as it marks the fifth (and final) strategic procurement programme to be developed under the National Procurement Professionalisation Forum’s (NPPF) efforts, a collaboration with the Australasian Procurement Construction Council (APCC), industry partners and CIPSA.

This follows the successful accreditation of the University of Canberra’s programme in January this year, Queensland University of Technology’s in March, RMIT University’s in July and the University of South Australia’s in July.

For any further information on how to achieve the MCIPS standard please see here (http://www.cips.org/en-au/studyqualify/AchieveMCIPS/) or contact Angelina Pillai, CIPSA Head of Education on 03 9629 6000.
