Maxine McKew promoted to transport portfolio

Former ABC Television journalist and rising Federal Labor political star Maxine McKew has been appointed parliamentary secretary for infrastructure, transport, regional development and local government.
Ms McKew will move from her child care and early childhood education parliamentary secretary role into infrastructure and transport, assisting Federal Transport Minister Anthony Albanese.
