Moves in the procurement profession

Roger McNeil is moving on from his position as CPO at Thiess, to CPO at QR National, taking over from the position vacated by Mario Adamo.

David McManus has been appointed Procurement Manager at the University of Sydney. The position became vacant following Sarah Collins’ acceptance of the Associate Director of Procurement Services role at the University of Sydney.

Correction: Victoria de Putron left CBA in 2011 and is now General Manager, Procurement, at The MAC Services Group, part of Oil States International.

Andrea Gregory has taken up the position of GM Group Procurement at Fonterra in New Zealand after leaving Telecom New Zealand as Group Procurement Officer in 2011.

Doug Boudry from Associated British Food (ABF) in the UK has been appointed Group Procurement Director of George Weston Foods (GWF). The position became vacant following Craig Lardner's departure last September to begin his own procurement consultancy practice. ABF is the parent company of GWF, and Doug will relocate to Sydney from the south of England with his family in due course. He starts in May. 

Marissa Brown has moved from Suzlon Energy Australia where she was a Supply Chain Specialist to Leighton Contractors where she has picked up the position of Procurement and Logistics Specialist.

Colin Fairweather MCIPS has moved from Health Alliance New Zealand where he was a Procuerment Specialist Team Leader to Carter Holt Harvey where he takes up the position of Procurement Manager.

Amadou Diallo has been appointed as the new CEO of DHL Freight. Diallo will be responsible for DHL’s international Road and Rail Freight Services. Diallo was previously CEO of DHL Global Forwarding for Africa and South Asia Pacific.

Connor O' Malley has accepted a position at Coles as General Manager Supply Chain Strategy.

Dorothy Holland has an updated current title: Strategic Category Lead for Outsourcing and Professional Services (Strategic Sourcing) at QinetiQ

Antionette Brandi FCIPS has resigned from Suzlon and is moving to Leightons Contractors to work in their Industrial and Energy Division where she will start up a new Procurement and Logistics team.

James Small is leaving Oliver Wright and Mike Reed is taking over his role

Roger Reading FCIPS has returned to his Perth home from Dubai
