CIPSA NSW 'Print & Travel' event a great networking session!

On Thursday 19th March the NSW CIPSA Regional committee held its second function for the year.


The theme of the night was ‘Reducing cost & eliminating waste on your indirect spend categories - Print Services & Travel Management’ and was held at the offices of Snap Printing in North Ryde.

The night started with an informal networking / meet and greet opportunity while sampling some fine canapés and cool refreshments. Patrons were then seated as our keynote speakers commenced analyzing the topic from their differing areas of expertise.

First up were Mr. Steve Stucci - National Business Development Manager and Mr Steve Southwell – General Manager Sales, both with our host Snap Printing. The two Steve’s discussed in an informative but entertaining way some of the key areas where procurement could focus their energies to drive down costs in their print management spend portfolios.

Our second speaker Mr. David Goldman – General Manager Goldman Travel proceeded to discuss the key points of reducing costs, driving compliance and ensuring your travel provider has the correct tools to mange your travel spend effectively.

The topic and subject matter from the presenters led to a range of topical questions especially around the current travel market, air fares and airline competition.

This very successful evening concluded with the speakers, CIPSA NSW Committee members and over 20 guests staying around to enjoy more of the fine food and drinks in an informal networking session.
