NZ and Gulf Cooperation Council begin fifth round FTA talks

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and New Zealand started the fifth round of free trade talks in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The head of the GCC delegation told reporters after the meeting that this round was preceded by meetings of technical committees and teams and added discussions over several items are expected to wrap in this round, while many other items are seeing great progress.
He pointed out the talks cover services, investments, government procurement, general provisions, commodities, place of origin guidelines, custom cooperation, and technical cooperation.
