The newly released results from the May 2010 exams show an excellent 75% pass rate for PNG students. A substantial improvement on 2009.

Over 40 delegates from the Papua New Guinea public sector are currently studying towards the CIPS International Certificate in Purchasing and Supply as part of a procurement reform programme supported by AusAID, the Central Supply and Tenders Board, Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the CIPSA training team.

The programme will increase the technical procurement skills and capability within PNG as the nation faces greater demand for procurement skills to fuel its fast growing economy.
