Procurement outsourcing forces closure of Heinz factory

Around 150 Heinz Australia workers lost their jobs when Heinz Australia closed its doors in Victoria’s north last week, outsourcing production to New Zealand.

Heinz Australia's Supply Chain Director Mike Robinson said the cost of making the factory competitive is too high.
