28 Feb 2011

The National public sector fraud and corruption congress will deliver practical solutions to enable companies to implement effective and resilient anti-fraud and corruption programmes, including identifying and reducing risks in procurement.

Experts will be on hand at the congress, to be held on May 20 this year at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra.

As well as practical solutions into dealing with risks in procurement, the congress will also help provide expert analysis on how to detect and identify fraudulent behaviour early and how to test and ensure the integrity of counter fraud measures.

Other areas of concern which will be discussed include:
• Developing effective training programmes that encourage ethical decision making
• Creating an environment that encourages whistleblowing; and
• Implementing effective social media safeguards for your organisation and employees

The conference has been thoroughly researched with involvement from over 100 public sector organisations.
