What does business expect from procurement?

With a title that allows for a multitude of answers there was an eager crowd of 40 people who turned up to Ernst & Young’s Brisbane office on September 23 to listen to and challenge three subject matter experts.

The panel representing Managing Consulting, Change Management and Chief Financial Officers gave an insight into their experience of what ‘ business’ expects from Procurement.
  
Each presenter mixed experience, case studies and a touch of humour rand the audience enjoyed the relaxed setting. The key message from the event was that procurement is expected to drive cost out, through delivering on innovation, change management and working collaboratively- procurement is well on the journey to getting a seat on the top table.
