SCLAA event in VIC: Carbon and green supply chains
09 Feb 2010
The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia extends an invitation to the first Logistics Lounge event for 2010, which takes place on Thursday 25th February from 6.30pm at Bells Hotel in South Melbourne.
Two speakers will address issues related to carbon reduction and green supply chains, and attendees will have the chance to network over drinks and nibbles.
SPEAKERS:
Dr Adrian Morphett, Carbon Planet
Carbon reduction: What does it all mean?
It does not matter whether or not you are one of the top 1000 companies in Australia who will be affected by the Carbon Credit Trading Scheme or a smaller organisation, the compelling nature of this movement and the benefits it can bring to an organisation means we cannot stand idly by and do nothing.
Mr Stephen Cann, MEAC Group
How Green is my Supply Chain?
The subject of Green and within this the “Green Supply Chain”, is one of the most widely discussed topics of all time. Continued focus by Government and the continual achievement of positive results by companies who are applying Green Principles and developing Green Supply Chains means that this is a topic that will continue to be high on most people’s agenda.
This event is free for SCLAA members and CIPSA members receive reciprocal membership rates.
