CIPSA launches Regional Chairs & Vice-Chairs selection process01 Jul 2009CIPS Australia is seeking voluntary regional Chairs & Vice-Chairs (VCs) for its seven regions in NSW, VIC [& TAS], QLD, WA, SA [& NT], ACT and NZ [AKLD/ CHCH/ WELL] to serve from 1st October 2009 through to at least 30th September 2011.
Although unpaid volunteer roles, regional Chairs & VCs will benefit from; Successful candidates will be requested to Chair monthly regional meetings, attend a modest number of events, review the base business plan for the region, meet with other regional chairs every six months and present once to the CIPS Australia Steering Group. A full Position Description for both roles is available at www.cipsa.com.au Candidates should forward a comprehensive CV with covering letter explaining why they think they are a good candidate for appointment as regional Chair/VC, along with three references (personal, professional and leadership) directly to regions@cipsa.com.au The closing date for applications is COB Friday 7th August 2009. The selection process shall be completed in good time to make appointments by the end of September 2009. |
