New Faces Join The CIPSA Steering Group

The CIPSA Steering Group sees the addition of several new members as CIPSA enters its fifth year of operations.

The recent 26th Steering Group meeting marked the first meeting chaired by John Tondut, who succeeded Bill Aukett as Chair on 1st January 2009.  SG26 was also the first meeting for new member David Henchliffe, CPO at Santos in Adelaide.

Joining the Steering Group at the next meeting ,SG27 in Sydney on 14 May 2009, will be new member David Gillard, Director-Commercial & Procurement at BAE SYSTEMS in Adelaide.  At the same time, Matt Mazzotta, EM- Business Partnerships at SUNCORP will formally succeed Rob Howe, and Peter McCray Head of Sourcing at WESTPAC, will formally succeed Andrew Buttsworth who has moved to a new role within the bank.

Members of the CIPSA Steering Group usually sit for around two years. The staggered rotation of membership offers fresh perspectives and moderates the burden on people who accept an invitation to join the group.
